Children integration in a new school in Bahrain

Hello everyone,

Moving abroad can be particularly hard on children. For any parent planning a move to Bahrain, it is of utmost importance to make sure they do everything in their power to make sure their children's transition is as smooth as possible. Would you be able to give a few tips to parents planning to move to Bahrain by answering the following questions on children integration?

What does one need to factor in when choosing a new school for their children in Bahrain?

How does one prepare their children for the transition into a new school in Bahrain?

How does one help their children integrate into their new school? Any tips to help a child transitioning into a completely different new program or curriculum?

Is there an age period during which a child really should change schools?

What are the signs that a child is having trouble transitioning into their new school?

Tell us how it went for your child in Bahrain.

Please share your experience,

Bhavna

Hi Dear,

First, you have to choose the syllabus like British Circular or CBS which background you kids  belongs to

Accordingly, you have to select the school first.

Then check what the school requirements to get the admission.

Once you get the admission then discuss with kids how they felt after attending the teacher lecture.

Ms. Bhavna, regards, the following are few points which I wish to share.
1. there are associations of every Indian region in which you will find families from your region who will be of great help because your kids will find it lonely here initially.
2. there are nearly 6-7 schools with Indian CBSE curriculam from which you can select a school based upon your kind's mindset.
3. I would advice you to search for a flat nearby the school so that you kid can walk through or atleast be driven within short time to save on school bus or taxi fare. ( some schools provide bus facility too)
4. if your kids are out-door gamers then begin to cultivate the habit of playing indoors because A. the heat will prohibit them from playing outside, B. they will find no one playing outside like in India.
