Have Visa, how To Extend Beyond Expiration Date and Other ?s

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I thought some Expats could advise.  I got a One year, Multi Entry Visa back in November, and had a great time  during my 59 days there.  My plan is to return in the Fall, but plan to stay beyond the expiration date of the Visa.  Do I need to buy a throwaway ticket, go to the BI, and apply for a 30 day extension, then return and apply for a 60 day extension with ACR Card?

Another question:  If I were to marry my girlfriend in Ormoc, how does that change my immigration status?  Would I continue to need to go to BI for extensions beyond reporting I married a Filipina?  Would an SRRV be required if I am married, or would only be needed if I remain single?

Lastly, If I get married, how much of a hassle is it to get her a Visa in case I want to return to the US?  I understand there is a backlog for K1 Visas.

I have looked around and did not see any guide on how to navigate these issues.  Any help would be appreciated.

While i've Never had a 1 year multiple entry visa, I would think that the same rules apply for renewing an expiring visa.

Once you're married, you can apply for a 13a Visa. There are threads in the forum explaining the process so no sense repeating it here. You can go the Balikbayan route also if you choose.

A K1 is a fiancé visa so, once you're already married, that would not come into play.
You would need to do an I-130 and an I-485
