28000 AED good for living and saving money in Abu Dhabi?

Luyz7891

Hello,

Sorry to bother I have been offered a salary of 28k AED monthly plus some percentage of housing payment. Is this a good salary for living and saving money?

How much could be the cost for a single person living normally?

Also they offer me medical insurance, dental insurance, 1 ticket every year to my Homeland, housing payment (certain amount), salary bonus.

Thanks

That's fine, you'll manage it.

Hi,

That's quite a good offer.
What is your profession, if you don't mind me asking?
For a single person, that will be more than sufficient.

I'm a engineer. I made several technical interviews before getting this offer. I did reject first offer because I consider it was low then they made another offer this time for 28k + benefits.

Would I be able to safe good money? I'm not a person of luxury just a normal guy.

Yeah you definitely would be able to save a fair bit.
Rent is generally the highest expense, but for a single person who doesn't live beyond his means, you will have no problem.
All the best!
