Best season to move to Bulgaria

Hello,

Many expats choose to move to Bulgaria at a specific time of the year, and we invite you to share some tips about the best seasons to move to the country.

What is the best season/time of the year to move to Bulgaria, and why?

How do rent prices fluctuate based on the different seasons?

Is there a change in the job market depending on the seasons, such as job availability?

Are there any seasonal festivals or cultural events that would allow you to learn about the country?

What are the times of year to avoid for expatriation to Bulgaria?

During which season did you move? How did it go?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Priscilla

Well, I moved end of June 2015 and believe me it wasn't best time of the year. The 2015 summer was hotter than average (and I don't really enjoy high temperatures) .... When I after a few months decided to look for an appartment .... It was high season for students looking for an appartment .... not the best time of the year to seach for an appartment

Best time to move, might be just at the end of the summer and start looking for an appartment in October and get settled in before winter arrives.

Winter can be a bit severe and in spring I do(not) enjoy the local hay-fever.

But in all there might not be a best season to move here......  :)
