dogs in san miquel

several of us are planning a one month trip to san miquel de allende in january. i've heard there is a barking dog problem. is this still a problem and are there any parts of the city that experience less of a barking dog problem than others?

Barking dogs are migratory and move from one neighborhood to another on a weekly basis. One week there is quiet and the next you're awake all night.
