Hi all,
I have a question about employment background checks and a couple of things I've read. I was told that if you don't want to expose your past scrapes with the law, you can by living in Vietnam for 6 months, get a Vietnamese background check for employment purposes. Does anyone else know or have any information on this subject? Thanks in advance.

Past scrapes?
Are we talking a minor bit of youthful naughtiness long grown out of or major crimes?
One might well be forgivable and not much of anything worth a note but the other could be very serious, especially if working with kids as so many expats do.

It was a felony drug possession charge and I was not convicted and the charges were dismissed but it still shows up on a background check as an arrest.....Advice?
