Hi there, I heard of Al Nada hospital and checked Rofayda in sheikh zayed which are both specialised maternity hospitals. I am searching for the same myself. Not sure about hospitals in new cairo. Which doctor are you following up with ?

I'm looking for new obstetrician- gynecologist. I'm 26 weeks pregnant, Few day ago I felt very strong pain, called to doctor and he told to take antispasmodics and nothing more. I was shocked!!!! I still feel this pain time from time(( I want normal doctor...

I am 18 weeks pregnant and I have been searching for good doctors here, don't trust anyone most of them (although I don't like to generalise) but from what I have been through and also heard from friends takes it as a business. Now I am visiting a few ones to decide if I will find a professional one or not in order to decide if I can give Birth here or not. I have been recommended with: DR Ahmed Askalani and Dr Wael al Jundi. Also rofayda hospital have a few good ones as I heard. Tomorrow I am visiting dr Ahmed askalani and will let you know how it will go.

So Anna, I went last evening to Dr.
Ahmed askalani in the twin tower in zayed. He is a sweet guy, comfortable to talk to, asks too many questions and also leaves the space for you to talk and ask questions. He also gives you a file with information to read about your pregnancy ....etc. Very professional from what I experienced. Goes to several hospitals for delivery too. I recommend you go and visit. He also made himself available via mobile at any time for urgent questions.
