Want to movo to zilina slovakia

Hi I would like to move to Zilina SLOVAKIA with my Slovakian girlfriend and would like to know if anyone live near by and also if it's hard to find a job over there for English speaking

Hi Adam
The most ideal location for English speaking job hunters is the capital but you might find something in Zilina over time.  There is a useful job hunting website called profesia dot sk where you can try a search with just the word English.
Good luck, happy job hunting.

Hi Adam

I live in zilina, I am from britain I work for a british comapny here my wife is from zilina.  Yes there are jobs here for english speaking.  I speak very basic slovak I currently am learning but when I moved here I didnt.  There are a few companys around where you may find a job here.  What kind of qualifications do you have and I can maybe suggest a few companies you can reach out to.

Btw best descision I made moving here :)

I'm just curious what some of those companies for english speakers are in Slovakia.  can anyone throw out a few names?

Hi Maggie.  You can always go straight to the I.T. side of things,  You got Microsoft, ibm in bratislava and various others i think verizon is there aswell. There is Automotive, next year or so will be Jaguar Land rover. I work for a company called Coba Automotive that is a english manufacturer, there is Kia. US steel in koscia. I talked to a specialist recruiter in uk and they deal with high level jobs in slovakia and from what my contact says as long as you have professional qualifications she can get a job for me in alot of places, she has offered me a few companies which is good to know. I turned them down because im happy where I am and my traveling to work is very short but if I need something in the future its ok

I don't have professional qualifications.  I have a liberal arts degree BA in art with minimal computer skills.  I'm more the chatty receptionist type.  possibly customer service.

Best for you to stick to Bratislava.  Dont think you be able to get a receptionist job here because you would need to be fluent in slovak language and writing.  I will say it is a very hard language to learn before there are alot of mutations in the language depending on what you are talking about male female and it (ten ta to). but dont let that put you off.
