Hi,

To be able to move in Myanmar, a lot of expatriates think of buying a car, whether new or second-hand.

What are the formalities to buy a vehicle in Myanmar: car registration, insurance, etc.?

What are the relevant authorities or organizations to contact?

How long does it take and what are the associated costs?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience,

Kenjee

I am a Local and Buying a car in Myanmar is now way easier than ever.Just Give Money and Get Owner Book,Insurance Book and Wheel Tax and Also if you are buying the car which is not new plate number, make sure you check whether the car is breaking the rules of transportation (Such as ,Indiscipline Drive,Wrong Park and Red Traffic Pass and other). You can check it in the 51st Street( Upper Block) Bo Ta Htaung Township,Yangon.

If you need to know further,I will be happy to share
