Do you have a baby? a toddler?
Or was one or more of your children born in Libya?

What were the things that you wish you knew before you arrived? What was/is your experience?

Now it all seems more than less OK, but on arrival I was somewhat concerned about the local tradition to express love for others' kids, especially the expat kids. As a mother of a toddler I was quite nervous when total strangers lifted and kissed the girl without asking me. I know there will never be any harm to a child from the locals but at the beginning especially with the absence of this habit at my home country I was rather frustrated.

And now from time to time I have troubles with finding pull-up dipers :) They are quite rare in local shops with all the choice of nappies offered. :)
