Hi,

Living in a foreign country implies to discover its culture, to learn and master the cultural codes.

How did you deal with that? Share with us your culture shock stories where you experienced a funny or awkward moment in Luxembourg.

What is your advice regarding the don’ts and what would you recommend to avoid any mistake?

Thank you in advance for sharing your stories,

Luxembourg is a great city with lots of diversity. As a Canadian, I met lots of great people there- from Slovakia, Belgium, Spain, France, Poland, England - you name it!

Once I invited my friend from Canada to come and visit me in my flat in Luxembourg. We had a great time. I even lent him my whole apartment once while I went away on a business trip. And when I came back? Whoa! My whole place was trashed and he'd even taken a mutual friend of ours in my own bed! It's okay though because she was Polish so I look back on it as a real multicultural experience in Luxembourg! Vive la diversite'! Haha sorry my French still isn't so great...!😀
