Hi Mr. Sumitran, i have read your previous reply about an inquiry from an indian national quoted " 3. Will there be medical test conducted in OMAN after this medical done here in India??? - Yes, before you go for getting your resident card. But this will only be a basic blood test and a superficial physical screening. "
may i ask.. What are the specific tests included in BASIC BLOOD TESTS and SUPERFICIAL PHYSICAL SCREENING?..

Hi Vijongski,

The superficial screening tests conducted would include checking your lungs / heart beats using a stethoscope, checking your reflexes (knee-jerk) mono-synaptic response, asking the expatriate to cough to see if there's any case of hydrocele, etc.

Given the serpentine queues at the ministry clinic, the doctors won't be too bothered to investigate closely. They will do these tests routinely and carelessly.
