Hello guys is any one here can give us an idea about the tax and duties you need to pay in custom in philippines for shipping a household container thanks.

How to be qualify for the 350k exemption? Thanks

Hi!I would like to know what was the experience with your shipping. Was it too expensive? We are going back to Manila, Phils for good and we have quite a lot of things here in UAE. Your answer is greatly appreciated!

@Shane14 WE had a neighbor whose Dad had shipped his furniture and art works. Somehow things got messed up and cost them thousands more than they had been told (so he told us).

@Jjj1522 If you are returning Filipino resident, you're entitled to a Php150,000 to Php350,000 duty exemption (depending on your length of stay abroad). Two to three weeks before the arrival date of your shipment, you need to apply for tax exemption in the Department of Finance Manila. The requirements are the original passport, TIn card, certificate of employment, or residence card.
