All banks are much the same but look at the smaller ones rather than the big one's. Or a credit union.

Hi Julien,
NAB has a fee free bank account, I am not aware of any of the other banks offering this other than having a minimum of such and such amount coming in each month or an actual fee attached to it.
Plenty of NAB branches and ATMs, we never had a problem.
You can apply online through this link.
tfaforms.com/197860. Does not say NAB in the URL but we used it plenty of times for our students (we run an education agency) and it is the official form they use.

If I were you I wouldn't use the bank for your initial transfer of funds as they offer poor exchange rates try a foreign exchange provider instead!
