Jakarta House

Hi everyone, i'm a newbie.

I'm looking for advice please. I'm British and still a British citzen and have a house in South Jakarta. The house is obviously in my Indonesian wife's name. We've been married 7 years. We don't have any pre-nup. We would like to sell the house and I'm wondering if we're likely to run into any legal problems during the sale?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Let your wife sell it and don't be involved. Its in her name so there is no reason why there would be complications, unless you are gettinf divorced and then you may not get anything. It would I believe all go to your wife.

lukereg has that bang on.
Keep out of the way and let your wife do the lot.
Also, if anyone asks, lie about the prenup. If they don't ask, keep it zipped.

That goes double if you're talking to anyone official or a lawyer.
