Applying for a SA work permit at SAHC in UK

Normally 30 working days, provided that you have supplied them with the correct documentation. Please note that they are very strict with work permit requirements. Have you considered applying in South Africa?

I'm applying on an Intra-company transfer and was hoping that it would be approved a lot quicker than 30 days. The French guy who sits opposite me also came in on an intra-company last month and his WP took just 5 working days at the SA Embassy in Paris.

I am 29yrs old lady. I need connections on how to get a work permit.

a workpermit application at the SAHC in London takes normally around 10 working days.

Although it can happen in 10 days, this is not necessarily the norm and it is prudent to be ready for a longer wait.

Indeed it is not a guarantee. I have been told it takes around 10 working days (2 weeks)
but it might take longer / shorter.
