@callincard If everyone is allowed to post events on the forum, then there is no need for an events section. The events you organize are not any more important than someone else's. The forum is for discussion of expat topics and helping one another.
Contact information is not allowed on the forum for security and safety reasons. Again, it applies to all users. If someone needs to contact you they can use the PM system to message you, and you can then provide whatever information you like to that member privately.
