I just sent you a private :)

Hiya :)
I am moving to Israel in one month, do you have any recommendations or jobs that you know of?

Many thanks.

shalom xiora, Rani can help both with jobs and rent. In my experience, its best to first determine where you would like to live before the job hunting because convenience in Israel is very critical ;)

best!
Angie

Hi Luba,

I am planning to move to Tel Aviv very soon. What kind of work and place to live are you talking about in your message?

Thanks a lot,
Natalie

hi my name is jincy , me and my husband aged in 40s want to settle in Israel, we both were working in United kingdom and now searching job in Israel, we are now in Dubai, please help us, i like to work as caretaker of old aged women helping her in daily chores, pls reply thanks and best regards

Shalom Natalie,

I live in the Tel Aviv area in the northern part of the city and work in Human Resources.

Rani can help with jobs from abroad, however as a rule of thumb, its alway best to have a flight ticket date set and find an Apartemnt first so you know where to find jobs, and work close and conveniently to where you are residing in Israel.

As for Jincy, I suggest to set a date and come to Israel first and from here you can find work as caretaker;-) (this depends also on filling out for a work visa at the Interior Ministry)

For help with jobs you can contact Rani at [email protected] . He can also refer you to someone who has excellent apartments for rent or sale throughout the country

Hi Angie, Thanks for your prompt reply, first of all i need to know whether Indians can work here, if i need to come to Israel i need and assurance i will get a job, otherwise i need to come there as a tourist and search for a job, but its better to have a job first and then search for place to live. i have already visited Israel last year for 2 weeks and try for jobs, but the people living in Israel said first to confirm job and then visit. please advice me to obtain job please which will be highly grateful... thanks and best regards  ..jincy

shalom Jincy,

Indians can work here absolutely, and you are correct, you do need assurance for a job. For this you either need a Sponsor who can employ you from India or come to Israel and become Sponsored.

The best method in my experience as I have been doing HR for a while is to come as tourist and become sponsored on the ground. Its much much more difficult from abroad unless you have very good connections in Israel.

This time if you come to Israel, you can be guided step by step to finding a sponsor or being recruited through a manpower agency that will approve you for work as caretaker. Then you take care of this at the Interior Ministery office for work visa.

I hope this helps!

Angie

Hi jincyway,

Can you please avoid posting in Caps lock? It will make your post more friendly :)

For your visa, maybe you can contact directly the Indian Embassy in Israel on +972 3-529-1999 and explain them your problem that you are facing actually.

You can also have a look to this article, maybe it can bring you some useful information :

Perhaps ask a tour company who specialises on Israeli tours.

Is there any tour agency recomendation? Stumpy

Hi Everyone,

Im sorry for responding late..I was on a family trip. I personally cannot help with Visa's, you'll need to contact your embassies as mentioned by Priscilla and others, (thanks for your advice was real helpful !;-)  After you have taken care of the basic requirments for coming to Israel and bought your ticket ,then I know someone who can help with fast accomodation, work, and other neccesities such as getting medical aid, opening accounts,  financial help, (depending on your status) from government, and referring you to learn basic Hebrew.. They are perhaps the most affordable in the country and work on a personal only basis. You can send a private message and I can refer you to them if needed..

Happy passover everyone, shalom, and thank you Expat.com for making all this happen ;)
