If you are thinking of private accommodation, I have to disappoint you: Renting residential property for periods shorter than six months is illegal. With a tourist (or other short-term) visa you have to stay in hotels, hostels or services apartments - the cheapest of those cost around S$3500/month (and might not suit three people).
