Hi everyone,

I'm a Canadian citizen, fluent in English, moderate Chinese, but little Vietnamese. I also have a fiance who is Vietnamese. If we both lived in HCMC, what kind of jobs do you think I can do that are well paying and plentiful?

I'm going to be a journeyman electrician in one year, and I heard electricians and other trades people do not earn a good living in Saigon. Teaching English seems like a decent paying job, but I can't find any ones that are permanent positions with full hours.

If in the right path, Saigon is not a place to make too much money. Can make for your living. About teaching English, usually employers like "Native Speakers" even though they do not possess any teaching degree.If you want, you can be one of them with 'preference'!
