Hi there!

Thinking about moving to Beirut in the coming months.  I've always dreamed of living in the Middle East, and the more I read about Beirut--the more beautiful the city seems.

How is the job market in Beirut?  As someone who speaks very, very little Arabic, would I be able to find work?  If so, what types of bussinesses are hiring right now?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

As i know, it's quite difficult to find a job in Beirut, especially if you're searching for something steady. Of course, it depends a lot on your major. Like in almost all places, IT is a good opportunity.
Best regards

Hi,
The Lebanese travel and tourism sector is expected to experience strong growth this year. That could be a field with some posts where English is prized over Arabic. French helps too. Of course tourism jobs are more ideal for a summer job so it will depend on your plans and what type of work you are looking for.
