If you are there for a year, you have to make an exchange between your driver license and a khmer driving authorisation. It will cost around 45 $.
You will have to wait 1 month to get it.
This authorisation is for a year.
Or, if you decide to stay longer... just pass the exam. They have one in English. No need to take lessons. Around 150 $. But since few weeks, they are asking for a paper from your comune of residence attesting your adress. Quite easy to get.
As far as i am informed, you can not drive with any other license. Except if you always keep some $ in your car, hopping that you will never be involved in an accident. ...
