Renting Property in Dubai

Hi there, i am looking to migrate over to Dubai later this year but am concerned about the rental procedures there. As i understand you pay a year in advance and for a 3 bed villa ( to suit a family of 4 ) i could be looking at £30-40k plus up front. I clearly don't have that sort of money. Is there any other way around this or loophole i can get through to avoid this and say pay monthly like everywhere else in the world?
Or am i wasting my time even thinking about accepting a position in Dubai?
Any advice would be greatly accepted.Thank you.

Tobyb,

Some but not all employers would give you an allowance toward the cost of housing- if you dont fall into that category then landlords could give you the option of 2 cheques a year but they usually bump up the yearly rent for the privilege.

I have only seen 1 and 2 bed apartments go on a monthly basis.

Hello tobyb,

Many Landlords will accept your rent to be paid in three or four equal installments over the year.
