Vietanemese Drivers License

It seems that you should prepare some pieces of paper: Register form, a copy of translated driver license, a copy of passport, visa, your pictures, etc.

Where to contact? Once it could be done at Driver and Transportation Management Office at Thai Thinh Street but I'm not sure now which department manages it.

I have done this license for Canadian friend in Van Mieu str.

It's better if you can share where and how to do it on this forum, so everybody can have information and do it themselves.

To convert an Danish driving licence or an International Driving Permit into a temporary Vietnamese driver's licence, the applicant must first hold a valid Vietnamese residence permit of at least three month's validity and a current Danish driving licence or a valid International Driving Permit. In Hanoi, applications for temporary driver's licences should be directed to the Office of Traffic & Public Works, 16 Cao Ba Quat Street
