I want to buy an inexspensive eco lodge in Vilcabamba

Does anyone know if I can buy a yurt there. I've read several articles about eco lodges being built there for $20.00 a square foot.

Seeing as you haven't gotten a ton of responses, thought I'd jump in.
Firstly, I didn't know what a Yurt was. Maybe related to a Yak? LOL. So, after I Googled what it was, I'll say this.
The folks in this country are fantastic, resourcfull builders.In my looking up the term Yurk, I saw on line, plans available. If some one isn't activley building them now, I'm sure you could buy a piece of land, and have one built with your plans. The Yurt isn't that far removed from the Tikki Hut's, so I'm sure they could build you one. There is a guy on the boards that is very resourseful, and has had some very " frugal " places built. If you are interested in contacting him PM me, or you can research Dom. He's on this forum frequently.
Anyway, it's an avenue you might want to consider.
