hep c PCR

zikobiko

Dear all,

I have tested positive for hep c screening antibodies but my PCR showed that i do not have the virus. Do they do PCR in Oman to rule out the virus or as many other gulf countries only test for the screening Antibodies ?

Hi, I also need similar info but on Hep B. Does Oman accept PCR test (negative) to rule out Hep B (HbsAg) on medical fitness report for employment visa. I also learn't that the Hep is only tested for certain categories of work visa in UAE. Does Oman follow such practices? Forum members to respond and clear the air on this.
