HI ALL
Taking a 7 night Mediterranean cruise with my husband. Can anyone recommend which of the ships shore excursions we should take at each port? Ports include Bari, Katakolon, Esmirna, Istambul, and duvronik.
And also could we do the tours without a tour guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For Istanbul, the port isn't too far from the tourist area. You just take a taxi to Kabatas(would cost you around 7-10 TL) and take a tramway(2TL for a jeton).
Get off at Sultan Ahmet and enjoy sightseeing.
Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar all are at Sultan Ahmet.
Don't forget to eat kebaps at Sultan Ahmet Koftecisi (They sell the best bebaps)

there are different routes for the cruises in Mediterranian Sea.The one u want wth 7 nights can be included Mediterranian costs of Turkey and some Greek Islands...

there is another option for this kind of tours.. you can search on the internet " gulet cabin tours ".
This kind of tours has option for turkey and greek islands cruises 7 night 8 days and you dont need guide as well.
