Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Equatorial Guinea?

What are the formalities to get a driver’s licence in Equatorial Guinea?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Thank you for participating ;).

Hi Armand,

to get a driving licence is usually easy.

If you have a driving licence from the EU or USA or, basically, any other country where a formal test has to be passed to get it, then it is automatically given to you provided that you have the residence permit.

The cost is around FCFA 50,000.

If yo do not have a driving licence,or your licence is from a country that is not among the ones approved, then you will have to go through driving school and take the exam. The cost of the driving school is around FCFA 150,000.
