considering moving to sohar

Hi all,
I am kaushik and have recently got an offer from a contracting co based in sohar and comparing the scenario I am considering accepting the offer before a few final researches,
1)I got to know the average rents for a 2 bhk will be around 300 OMR, but I found no web sites for comfortably searching for apartments. so, It would be grateful if you could guide me as to the best way of searching apartments to rent?
2) when do the admissions to the Indian school start, how much do they cost annually? and is it difficult to find an admission there?(my daughter is 3.5 years old)
3) how long does it take to issue a visa for family ... spouse and daughter?

hi there.

I think the rent is lesser here in Sohar, you can get it at 150 OMR , nice flat already. It is less expensive here compared to Muscat.

Can you provide a bit more details on the rental options in Sohar? Maybe a few websites; Or names of a few Apartment blocks; It will be very helpful.
