we just moved to Netherlands, we were leaving in Tripoli where i was working for an international oilfield service company, i just got transfered to Netherlands (Assen), my coleagues advised me to leave in Groningen
can any one let me know if i have better option
is there an english (or french) day-nursery

Groningen is a bigger city than Assen. I don't know what you are looking for. Groningen has more cafe's, shops, movietheaters etc. Groningen is a student-city and therefor there a a lot of young people and things to do.
Assen is a bit smaller and more of a town feeling than a city.
