MEU1 and MUKW1 and tax residency

Hi and happy new year! (almost)

Currently living in Paphos with my husband on MEU1 and MUKW1 residencies.

We're looking to buy and build over here but we're also thinking of spending some time outside of the country before that and don't want to jepordise our eligibility for tax residency and gesy benefits.

You just need to verify what absences from Cyprus are allowed per year.. per MEU1 MUKW1...

Do the 90 days out of Cyprus apply if I have perminant residency rather than temp?

@Toon aside from the MEU/MUKW we have an LTD which means we can keep physical and tax residency with fewer days in the country than an employed person, but we've not been able to get a straight answer about whether we would lose the right to work as employees for companies besides our own when we come back.

Hopefully a solicitor will be more forthcoming after the holidays, apparently no one replies in December.

@phildraper I've read on a couple of legal sites that you're allowed up to 5 years consecutively away as a permanent resident before it's possible that it would be invalid.
