Terminate Blocklist

Hello to all expat...last month I travel back to my country...but bfor I leave my employer send a message to if I come back again in Singapore I need to throw the sim card and buy a new one..my employer told me I can still come back in Singapore to work..but when I apply again to another agency my record cannot find..so it's mean I Blocklist already..what should I do ?how to remove my Blocklist?can I still work in Singapore ?how many months or yrs? please answer me..and please help me

@dhelnaponesabuero Your post is confusing. I interpret it as:

• You terminated your previous job in Singapore and returned to your country. The previous employer did not lodge a complaint against you.
• Now you want to work in Singapore again and your work pass application was rejected.

If that is correct (especially that there were no problems with your previous employer), then the reason for rejection is something else. Your new employer should contact MoM to find out the details!

It the problem is just that the employer's agent cannot find your record in EPOnline, then they just made a mistake when entering your details. The employer should look for a more capable agent then, or do the application themselves!

@dhelnaponesabuero If your record is really missing from MoM's system, the employer should contact MoM to have it reinstated.

Are you blocked from entering Singapore? (Then contact ICA!)

Are you blocked from working in Singapore? (Then contact MoM!)

Or did you just terminate your previous job? (Then there might be nothing wrong!)

Bcoz when I apply to another agency the cannot find my record in the mom..so the agent said I already Blocklist...I also contacted my previous employer but she didn't rply

I assume by "blocklisted" you mean banned. But it is still unclear whether you mean banned from visiting the country,(-> ICA) or from working/living here (->MoM).

The record of your previous workpass is certainlyin MoM's system. If the agent cannot find it, it is either an error of the agent, or of MoM's system. It does not mean you are banned. (A ban is never shown in the system.)

I recommend you avoid this agent, as they seem to not know their stuff! It is much better to deal with potential employers directly.

I meant that you cannot know about any possible ban based on what you described above, as this is onlyagent incompetency or MoM system error.

The only way to find out if there actually is a ban, is asking ICA and/or MoM. And no ban still doesn't mean you will be allowed to work in Singapore again - you and the employer also have to be eligible for a work pass.

September 3rd 2024 is apply for a work permit application because my application is still pending another worker application are approved why my application is still pending

@Gowtham Randy Your application is still pending because it is under process and not decided on. Some application take longer than others, for various reasons.

In case you want to visit Singapore: Visit visa are not issued by MoM, you need to apply at ICA instead!
