Negotiating for a new Honda PCX purchase in Chiang Mai

Any dealer recommendations on best choice to purchase new Honda PCX here in Chiang Mai?    For example the new 2023 PCX with ABS is around 105,000thb out the door am I correct?    is that the best and lowest price one can expect?   As a farang im saying.

Also anyone who can pm me on whether I should opt for ABS or CBS brakes please chime in.    Thanks!

Hello

I can tell you the process I went thru for my Yamaha

125 in Phuket and it may be different. But, they

would not take a trade-in and they would not

negotiate for a lower price. In fact they would

not let me take it for a test drive even if I let

them hold my passport.

Basically, pay for everything up front then sign

the paperwork. This bike has been sitting in the

showroom for for 3 years. It had no battery, oil

or fuel in it. It was a 2018 model that I bought in

2021 It was considered new with very few kilo

on it.

Completely different buying experience I had

never bought anything without test driving it

first. But with all that I'm very happy with the

scooter and had no issues.

Maybe it would have been different had I had

a Thai friend with me because when I bought

my Toyota a used one I had a thai friend and

they let me drive it before buying.

@scbrock

Thanks SC.   yes, I am not surprised that there is a difference here.   I am surprised that that new 125 after sitting 3 years was not discounted at all.    But thankfully its become a good ride for you.    Thanks much for your input here.    Appreciate it.

@Leeds forever!

Thanks Leeds!    My feeling was that ABS was far better but just wanted a bit more confirmation.

Thanks for the input.
