Hi all, new here so hope this is ok to post.
Just wondered if anyone has any previous experience of a Thai national trying to make a claim on a UK estate?
Not married but together for about 4 years but living apart for the last year.
Will in place leaves estate to UK relatives but probate has been blocked by ex Thai girlfriend.

I think you need a lawyer. For what it's worth, my personal opinion is I don't think a person's nationality will have any bearing on the matter you describe. I would have thought that the will would trump everything unless the 3rd party has some verifiable evidence that would make a judge think otherwise.
