Ask at the community centres around you!

But, since those are dominated by Chinese-speaking oldies: Do you speak the language?

Sruthi06

Unfortunately No, I can speak English only and cannot speak Chinese.

We approached community centre and Informed that only the locals/PR can do voluntary activities at community centre and that we have to approach nearby grass root for HDB or condo group for such activities. We even approached the group and got to know that currently there is no such activities going on in the near future.

So I really wish to know like how can we start doing some voluntary activities here . Thank you!

@Sruthi06 Interesting to know that they only accept local volunteers. I know some foreigners doing such stuff in the past, so either the rules have changed or your community centre is especially strict.

As an alternative, you could offer free public sessions through related Facebook or Meetup groups.

I was worried if there is any restriction for a DP in providing free Zumba sessions. Thank you so much for responding to my queries.
