Romania's living cost is not so much high, it is extremely reasonable & very affordable country for people if they are paid in American $. The situation is not that ideal for Romanian who earn in Romanian currency. Interestingly, Romania is a very nice and attractive destination for digital nomads & digital marketing & IT industry workers who work remotely. Romanian people are very friendly in nature, and beautiful natural sightseeing options, rule of law and peace, and very good IT infrastructure and traditional food.

Consumers' goods and items prices are around 47% more than the USA, around 40% cheaper than Spain & Around 51% cheaper than Germany. While 1 USD is equal to 4.60 RON.

Romania has lower rents than a lot of other countries. The city center is the place & and a major prices factor & the city also is. Instead of Lei, the majority of flats & apartments rent is marketed in EUR. Almost every flat or apartment has a balcony to enjoy the outside scenery. Some apartments having 4 rooms/1 bath apartment situated in sibiu in the beautiful old town may code you over than 300 EUR along with Gas & electricity.

Cluj-Napoca is among the expensive city where same 4 room apartment rent will be round about more 460 EUR.

•    Family of four estimated monthly costs are 6,938.3AED (8,684.9lei) without rent.

•    A single person estimated monthly costs are 1,990.7AED (2,491.9lei) without rent.

@Mickael

we live in Moldovan Noua.

our electric bill was almost $800 ( US DOLLARS) for a small two bedroom apartment. No idea why it is so expensive. We have had the meter checked. Power is 3 phase.

food runs about $350.00 per mo. Two people.
