Please advise.
My friend is a Zimbabwean Cotizen and has been working in South Africa on w working visa for 3 years now.
He has dual citizenship (UK AS well).
He let his Zimbabwean passport expire as he wasn't planning on going back there ever.
He applied for an extension on his working visa, but this time on his UK passport. Because of a huge backlog in Home affairs he is still waiting for the confirmation of the extension of his new working visa. VFS said as long as he has the receipt of the application, he iwill still be able to work in South Aftica until the outcome of the new application
He now wants to visit his family in Zimbabwe. Question: will he be able to LEAVE South Africa on an expired Zimbabwean passport ?
Secondly, Will he be able to ENTER Zimbabwe with an expired passport? (He is a citizen of Zimbabwe?)?
Thirdly, he entered South Africa on his Zimbawean passport, but, can he used his UK passportto leave South Aftica and ENTER Zimbabwe on his UK passport?
In other words....he enters Zimbabwe as a tourist?
And lastly...will he be able to LEAVE Zim and ENTER South Africa on his UK passport?
