WOW, if you are looking for a house for 300,000 USD which is about 400,000 CAD, you will have to look very far from Vancouver. Even a condo in Vancouver starts from 1 million and up. It will be hard to find something like that in your price range in ... Read More

We used to have the same (minus the dish because we had cable TV, but some areas have to have a dish), but realized we don't watch TV at all, so no need to pay for it. We watch all on Netflix, You Tube or directly online though Chromecast. Read More

You can draw money from an ATM in DR no matter what bank you use in USA or Canada, or elsewhere in the world. As long as you bank knows that you will be in DR using your card, you will get cash. Denise Read More

We do have Scotia in DR and also in Canada and they do not communicate together :) So you have to wire the money the same way as to any other bank. As Canadians, we cannot have US dollar account at Scotia in DR, not sure why but that is their ... Read More
