About

I still live in France, still work in Switzerland. I first wanted to emigrate to Türkiye, recent events in Türkiye prove me right and this country is heading straight towards a regional and civil war. To date, we have evolved and are the owner of a property in Sarajevo, known as little Istanbul... And we are very happy with it. Now expatriation is no longer far away, the children have certainly grown up and are themselves impatient to go on an adventure. We have been to the Balkans several times, very pleasantly surprised by the beauty of these countries, the nature side always prevails and the welcome is always very good. Listen and hear all wise advice.
Interests: voyage, etc..., , famille, rando

My expat journey

Sarajevo, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia Herzegovine

Since 2025

Sarajevo, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia Herzegovine

We bought a house there in 2015 Carried out work during 2016-2017. Ultimately we will live there but we are setting up a quality expatriation in total autonomy, so we will create our own activity there.
To be determined on site... In any case, I would benefit voluntarily from my expertise in care. After all, everything remains possible...
Ultra nature, very cosmopolitan city, its history, its old town, its influence despite itself... Past historical role, more recent past and its future to be built. Its evapis, its Kajmak, and a No Stress art of living... Touching and welcoming population, friendly and helpful... A very developed nature side, have always lived with 'organic' products, a natural way of life in Bosnia. Lots of wild nature throughout the country, nice spots for rafters, lots of waterways... clean, one of the rare countries in Europe where you can still drink directly from the rivers.
Complicated or complex language. English is possible in big cities like Sarajevo, Mostar because they are very touristy.

İstanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye

İstanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye

Currently I live in a small town in Bresse between Lyon and Geneva.
I am a nurse and cross-border worker since I work in Switzerland on the banks of Lake Geneva.
Its history, its grandeur, cosmopolitan, charming megalopolis, inter-denominational, ultra-touristy, hypercultural, Istanbul residents rather welcoming and warm.
Since 2014, Turkey and Istanbul are no longer part of our projects. Too much risk (financial, political, unfavorable international scene, etc.) then they prefer foreign retirees who spend their retirement on goods and services rather than active foreigners coming to invest. As investors, they prefer big fortunes, rather Russians, who pay little attention to expenses, etc.

Besançon, Franche-Comté, France

Jul 2017 - 2025

Besançon, Franche-Comté, France

I have just moved between Besançon and Lausanne. I'm still on the border... Hoping to leave permanently by the end of 2025 for Sarajevo where we bought a property in 2015.
Nurse at CHUV
Landscape, Courbet country, the Loue trout river, Besançon, its citadel, its center and its region... I miss Lyon because for me it is the most beautiful city in France. Gastronomy and its cultural sides.
Sterile and pointless political debates, rampant intolerances (not to mention state racism). Media used for brainwashing purposes leading to the lobotomy of audio viewers.

Lausanne, Switzerland

2008 - Aug 2017

Lausanne, Switzerland

Working there for the moment... You have to pay for your bananas there. Lots of "y"s but here are the Lyonnais... Returned to France to live there and become a cross-border worker in order to really piss off a Genevan party called the anti-border MCG.
Nurse, reflexologist, but I would like to pursue other activities... Watchmaking for example.
The breathtaking landscapes, the history of this country, the welcome, the sympathy of the Swiss. Mountain, snow, gastronomy and savoir vivre. Very beautiful notion of citizenship, France should learn from it... (Sterile debate on dual nationals, very numerous in Switzerland)
Road radars in particular every 5 km between Geneva and Lausanne. So I bought a 2001 Clio and sold my Lomborghini... Impossible to exceed 120 without being flashed...
