work permits are applied for separately - usually 1 year long, and a residency permit separately - usually 1 year long. i only know of 1 year residency permits and 5 year residency permits apart from the touristy ones. Read More

You are wrong... A person is considered resident in Malta if they reside in Malta for more than 183 days, or have intention to come back if they reside less. Unless she comes back or intends to stay longer in Malta then she is a non resident. Read More
