Project Coordinator in Mali

ENGIM is seeking a Project Coordinator for the implementation of the project "Promoting Youth and Women's Employment and Entrepreneurship in the Shea Sector and the Renewable Energy Sector in Mali," funded by AICS (Italian Agency for Development Cooperation). This project focuses on women's empowerment, vocational training, and sustainable economic development. It aims to promote youth and women's employment and entrepreneurship in the shea sector and the renewable energy sector, with activities planned in the Bamako district and the Koulikoro and Dioïla regions.
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Mali office and in coordination with the ENGIM Country Manager.
Skills
Essential Requirements: Prior experience as a project manager in the field of international cooperation. At least 3 years of experience managing development projects (preferably in areas such as economic inclusion, vocational training, or food security). Skills in writing and managing project proposals for public or private donor organizations. University degree in a discipline related to international cooperation. Excellent command of French; proficiency in Italian is an asset. Skills in administrative, financial, and project cycle management. Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies. Excellent computer skills (Office suite, email, internet). Cross-cutting Skills: Leadership and coordination skills. Problem-solving and conflict management skills. Management skills and knowledge of administrative procedures. Ability to negotiate and communicate with partners and institutions. Discretion, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience in West Africa, particularly in Mali, is an asset.
Diplomas
University degree related to international cooperation.
