Location: IFEA – International French-English Academy, Clichy-Levallois
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time
IFEA, a bilingual French-English school located in Clichy-Levallois, is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Educational Assistant (AED) to join our dynamic team starting August 25.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting teachers in classroom activities
Assisting with supervision during recess and lunch breaks
Helping students with learning tasks and daily routines
Contributing to a safe and welcoming school environment
Profile:
Previous experience in education or childcare is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual French-English preferred, but not mandatory
Energetic, patient, and team-oriented
Contract Type:
Full-time or Part-time
Initial contract: Fixed-term (CDD) until the end of the school year
Possibility of permanent position (CDI) after evaluation at the end of the year
Remuneration: Standard minimum wage, with potential increase based on experience and qualifications

Educational Support: Assist with student learning and classroom activities.
Bilingual Communication: Fluency in English and French; ability to support students in both languages.
Group Management: Maintain discipline and support a positive learning environment.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Organizational Skills: Manage time effectively, assist with administrative tasks, and supervise students.
Conflict Resolution: Handle minor conflicts and disruptions calmly and professionally.
Technological Proficiency: Use digital tools for educational purposes and basic office software.
Patience & Empathy: Be patient and understanding with students, especially those facing challenges.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to handle changing situations and priorities.
Cultural Sensitivity: Respect for diversity and ability to work with students from various backgrounds.
Diplomas
English proficiency (especially if working with bilingual students).
First Aid certification (preferred).
Experience in education or childcare (a plus, but not required).
