Working as a staff specialist:
As a staff specialist in Denmark, your main priority will be diagnosing and treating your patients, but you will have the opportunity to do so much more!
You will have the possibility to take part in training resident doctors, in various research projects, you will have the opportunity to attend conferences or
trainings, and you will receive every support to not only excel on a professional, but on a personal level as well.

Specialised in Psychiatry
Experienced and interested in general and/or geriatric psychiatry
Experienced and/or interested in illnesses within psychosis and schizophrenia, personality
disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, PTSD, depression and bipolar
disorder, and oligophrenia
Experienced in diagnosing and treating the most common uncomplicated somatic diseases
Experienced or interested in the field of research and quality development in the long run
Motivated to live and work abroad
Proficient in spoken and written English
What can you expect:
Permanent contract
€ 120,000 minimum yearly salary (including pension benefits; duties are paid on top) after
you start working as a full-time specialist
37 hour working weeks
6 weeks paid holiday
A free Danish language course after your arrival in Denmark to prepare you for the Danish Test 3
(PD3), while introducing you to the department
Thorough introduction to the department, hospital, language, and culture
Relocation assistance – Your employer will help you arrange moving, housing search, child care
Spouse networking assistance – Your employer will give a helping hand in networking
