SEN Educator & Youth Mentor
Ho Chi Minh City

About the candidate
Hi Saigon Parents,
My name is Mario. I am a fully trained and state-certified Educator and Social Worker from Germany with almost 15 years of professional experience in residential care and education. I live in HCMC long-term and offer both standard premium childcare and highly specialized behavioral support for children and teenagers (ages 3 and up).
While I work with kids of all ages, my deepest expertise lies in guiding and mentoring children and adolescents between 6 and 18 years old.
The Gap I Fill: If your family just needs a highly reliable, pedagogical professional for standard care, I provide a safe and structured environment. However, if your child is neurodivergent (e.g., ADHD, Autism), going through a difficult developmental phase, or struggling with daily routines, I provide the hands-on, practical support at the frontlines of daily life that a weekly therapy session cannot cover.
My Core Services:
Premium Standard Care (Ages 3 ): Safe, engaging, structured supervision. Includes basic meal prep, homework assistance, and language tutoring (English/German).
Specialized SEN & Behavioral Support (Ages 3 ): Establishing secure daily structures, emotional regulation, managing frustrating moments (transitions, focus issues) with a calm, patient approach.
Youth Mentoring & Life Skills (Focus: Ages 6–18): For older kids and teens who resist a standard "nanny." Working on impulse control, conflict resolution, coping mechanisms.
Logistics: Location: Binh Thanh. Available for D1, D2 (Thao Dien/An Phu), D3, D4, D7. Languages: Fluent English, Native German. Availability: Long-term, flexible — weekdays, evenings, short-notice possible. Rates: Standard Premium Care starts at 300,000 VND/hour. SEN & Behavioral Support is tiered based on need (see below, not published online).
Feel free to message me to discuss your child's specific needs or arrange a relaxed meet-and-greet.
Skills
State-certified Educator and Social Worker from Germany with almost 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents (ages 3–21), including 13 years in residential youth care. Based long-term in Ho Chi Minh City, I offer both premium standard childcare and specialized behavioral support for children with ADHD, Autism, or challenging developmental phases. Fluent in English and German, with a calm, structured, and hands-on approach to daily life — not therapy, but the practical support that makes therapy's recommendations actually work at home.
