ABOUT THE ROLE

We are an early-stage travel startup building a WhatsApp-based concierge service for international tourists visiting Vietnam. Travelers message us to book airport transfers, private car trips, day tours, and get local recommendations — no apps, no forms, just a simple conversation.

We are pre-launch in Hanoi and hiring our first on-ground Operations Coordinator. This is a ground-floor opportunity with real ownership — you will be the human backbone of the service during our MVP phase.

This role combines remote dashboard work (managing traveler conversations and bookings) with on-ground presence in Hanoi (building relationships with local guesthouses, hostels, and vendors). If you enjoy helping international travelers, know Hanoi well, and want to be part of building something from the start — this role is for you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Traveler Operations

— Monitor and respond to traveler booking requests via a simple operator dashboard

— Coordinate airport transfers, private car trips, and tour bookings end-to-end

— Handle time-sensitive requests and troubleshoot issues (flight delays, pickup confusion, itinerary changes)

— Ensure every traveler has a smooth, reliable experience

Driver & Vendor Coordination

— Source and vet reliable Hanoi-based drivers for airport transfers and city rides

— Build and maintain a trusted vendor network for tours and activities

— Negotiate pricing, confirm availability, and manage pickup logistics

— Track vendor quality and responsiveness

Local Partnerships

— Visit hostels, guesthouses, and boutique hotels in Hanoi to introduce the service

— Place QR code marketing materials at cafes and tourist areas in the Old Quarter

— Identify local growth opportunities and share on-the-ground insights

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must Have

— Based in Hanoi, Vietnam with ability to work on-ground regularly

— Strong English communication — written and spoken

— Familiarity with Hanoi tourism, transportation, and the Old Quarter

— Responsive, organised, and calm under pressure

— Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic web tools daily

Strong Advantage

— Background in travel agency, tour operations, hotel, or hostel work

— Existing relationships with Hanoi drivers, tour vendors, or guesthouses

— Experience coordinating services for international tourists

— Familiarity with Noi Bai airport logistics and common tourist routes

— Bilingual Vietnamese and English
