About MHCP

Medical Health Clinic Phuket is a private medical clinic located in Cherngtalay (Laguna area), serving an international patient base. Under the medical direction of Dr. Katy, MHCP is currently evolving into a multi-specialty polyclinic. We are now recruiting a qualified psychotherapist to launch the mental health offering as part of our new specialty mix

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to build your own clinical practice within an established, well-equipped clinic — with referrals, administrative support, and a professional medical environment — while retaining the independence of a private therapist.

- Independent contractor status (sessional model)

- Part-time or full-time — schedule designed around your availability

- Dedicated consultation room, reception, billing, and clinical infrastructure provided

- Patient flow from MHCP's existing international patient base, with cross-referrals from medical colleagues

Who We're Looking For

- Master's degree or higher in Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, or equivalent

- Substantial clinical experience (minimum 5 years preferred) with strong professional references

- Recognized professional credentials (e.g. UKCP, BACP, BPS, APA, EAP, TAP, or equivalent national body)

- Fluent English required; additional languages highly valued given Phuket's international patient demographics

- Foreign-trained therapists are particularly welcomed; Thai nationals with strong international credentials equally encouraged to apply

- Already based in or willing to relocate to Phuket — or in a position to commit to a regular on-site presence

- Clinical specializations of interest: anxiety, depression, trauma, expat adjustment, couples & family therapy, addiction, burnout, and child/adolescent therapy
