We are looking for an outstanding part-time English teacher to join our team.
Position Requirements:
Foreign nationals are preferred.
Possessing fluent English speaking ability to conduct professional English teaching.
Having a basic level of Chinese to communicate with students and colleagues on a fundamental level.
Having a background in hotel management to be able to integrate relevant professional knowledge into English teaching.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop personalized teaching plans according to the English proficiency and learning needs of students.
Conduct high-quality English teaching in aspects such as grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening.
Combine hotel management professional knowledge to carry out characteristic teaching activities to enhance students' English application abilities in the professional field.
Regularly evaluate and provide feedback on students' learning situations and maintain good communication with parents or relevant responsible persons.

Language Proficiency Skills:
Fluent spoken and written English to effectively teach various aspects of the language like grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language usage. This includes the ability to explain complex language concepts in an understandable way.
Basic Chinese language skills to communicate with colleagues, handle daily interactions within the work environment, and understand the basic needs and questions of students during the teaching process.
Teaching and Instructional Skills:
The capacity to design and implement personalized teaching plans based on the different levels and learning styles of students. This involves being able to assess students' initial language abilities and set appropriate learning goals and tasks.
Skill in using a variety of teaching methods and materials, such as textbooks, online resources, and real-life examples from the hotel management field, to make the classes engaging and effective.
The ability to conduct interactive classroom activities, group discussions, and one-on-one tutoring to enhance students' language skills.
Knowledge of Hotel Management:
A solid understanding of hotel management concepts, processes, and terminologies. This knowledge should be integrated into the English teaching to provide context and practical examples for students to learn English in a professional setting related to the hotel industry.
The ability to use hotel management case studies and scenarios to teach English vocabulary, conversation, and writing related to the field.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues. This includes the ability to listen attentively to students' questions and concerns and provide clear and helpful responses.
The ability to build good relationships with students to create a positive and motivating learning atmosphere.
Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with other teachers and staff members in educational institutions or training centers.
