I was planning to visit Venezuela this summer. Heat is a real issue for me, so areas like Maracaibo are ruled out. Venezuelan immigrants talk about Sierra de Mérida, Valencia and, of course, Isla Margarita and other Caribbean beach resorts. I´m not either a huge city person or a beach dweller.
