Hi, I'm from the USA and my girlfriend is Venezuelan. I was curious if overstaying works the same/similar to Argentina, wherein you are considered irregular- not illegal. If so, is it just a flat rate whenever you determine to leave Uruguay, or are there further repercussions? I can't find any information online about overstaying in Uruguay. We're thinking about staying maybe a year. Any information+hyperlinks would be helpful, thanks.
