Steps to acquire Driving permit in Trinidad And Tobago?

Hey! I have never been the holder of a driving permit. I have driven a few times in my life but never went to get a permit or such. Please explain or go through the steps to acquire a driver's permit.

How to get a learners permit?
How many lessons needed before I actually drive?
When do I apply for the permit?
When is the test etc.
